An Excerpt from my Book I’m writing.
The pain you feel today is the strength you feel tomorrow. — Anonymous
So the ski school assigned us an instructor who was new to the resort, a man from the Czech Republic. His name was a tongue twister: Ladislav Lettovsky.
Luckily his nickname was easier: Ladi.
“So, JT. Falling is nothing to worry about. Whether when skiing or anything else,” Ladi said, sitting in the snow after the last roll. “It’s like being willing to fail at something new. That’s the best way to learn.”
Whatever you fear, break it into pieces, or steps. Then build a skill for each stage, and practice, practice, practice. That will give you confidence for the next challenge.
I was going to put this into practice a lot in the next few years.
